Hotel overlooking the Amstel river
Eden Amsterdam is located in a unique spot in Amsterdam. Right along the Amstel river and Rembrandt Square with an all of the highlights and hotspots within reach: Rembrandtplein, the Stopera, Waterlooplein and Theater Carré. Various Museums are near, including the Rembrandthuis Museum, Hermitage Amsterdam and Foam photography museum. The area is full of options for dining, going out and all the famous shopping like Kalverstraat and Utrechtsestraat are nearby. If you’d like to see the city from the water, you can step aboard on one of the many canal cruise boats which you can find near the Eden Amsterdam

Ideal location, lovely hotel
Lovely modern hotel in the heart of the city. Check in process was easy and the rooms comfortable with good facilities. Love the fact you can make your own pizza in the restaurant!! The bar area was lovely, ideal hotel for either leisure or business.
Lovely hotel close to everything
We stayed at this hotel in March. Check in was very quick and efficient (totally forgot about the tourist tax, but not the fault of hotel). The reception and public areas of the hotel are immaclualte with plenty of seated ares, pool table and games. We were upgraded to a superior double that overlooked a tiny side street, so no view, but no real issue. It was ample sized, great decor and a rather quirky bathroom etc up with frosted glass doors and shower cubicle. BReakfast was buffet style continental, but there was delicious scrambled eggs and sausages and bacon on offer as well. Breakfast really helped set us up for the day. There is also a self service shop and pizza/toasty cooking area. The hotel is well located within a 20 minute walk or so to the main areas such as Dam square, Anne Frank House, Central Station etc. One thing I was surprised about was how early the bar shut. We tried to order cocktails on out 1st evening after we returned from dinner to be told only beer and wine after 9.30pm, last ordered were called at 9.45pm and the bar closed 10pm which was a shame as it would've been nice to have a wee night cap before retiring. There are plenty of lovely restaurants nearby so don't let the fact the hotel only had a pop up restaurant towards the end if the week put you off. All in all the hotel was lovely, and met our requirements. Staff were very helpful and never passes without a smile and a hello. Would recommend this hotel!
