Eden Amsterdam is located in a unique spot in Amsterdam. Right along the Amstel river and Rembrandt Square with an all of the highlights and hotspots within reach: Rembrandtplein, the Stopera, Waterlooplein and Theater Carré. Various Museums are near, including the Rembrandthuis Museum, Hermitage Amsterdam and Foam photography museum. The area is full of options for dining, going out and all the famous shopping like Kalverstraat and Utrechtsestraat are nearby. Clean, central, friendly staff
Stayed for 3 nights. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Had someone noisy in the room above and asked to move rooms, very helpful staff who sorted it out straight away. Plenty to see nearby. Not much view from my window but from reviews it looks like other did
Hotel in the centre (great location with stop outside for red canal boat). Plenty of bars, restaurants close and easy to walk to museums etc as location as stated great. We had nice view of the canal room330.Staff really nice and room was ready on arrival at 12 noon. Beds were good and nice coffee machine but bathroom very small and difficult to use. Coffee , toiletries and towels replaced each day.Breakfast very good with plenty of choice including fresh fruit and freshly cooked omelettes or fried eggs. Nice touch was cups available to have coffee to take away. Would recommend and would be happy to return. Would be nice to have bottled water and biscuits supplied .Only issues were that early morning a little noisy outside with deliveries(only single glazing ) and on our last night we had noisy people in the room next door until 3.30am (not the fault of the hotel).Enjoyed.
Lovely hotel just steps from Rembrandt square
The hotel is created from several houses so it has two entrances: one from Amstelstraat, so if you take the train from the airport, from the station take tram no 4 or 14, get off at Rembrandt square in 100 metres you are at the hotel. Google advises taking the tube to Waterloo have no idea why. The other entrance is from Amstel. The check-in was efficient, the staff was kind and helpful. The rooms are nothing special, good design, comfortable, clean, nice, with tea and coffee making facilities. In the lobby you can buy some drinks, sandwiches, chocolate, like a small shop. You can have normal buffet breakfast, but olso there is an option for lighter, smaller breakfast. We had a lovely time here!
