- Can I change or cancel my booking?
The cancellation policy for your booking varies based on the selected room rate.
Non-Refundable Rates: If you opt for the non-refundable rate, it means you're getting a great deal, but do keep in mind that these bookings require full prepayment at the time of booking and cannot be changed or cancelled.
Flexible Rates: With our flexible rates, you have the freedom to pay later, and cancellation is free until 16:00 hours CET one day before your scheduled arrival.
Please note the following important details:
Early Departure: If your plans change, and you leave early, there will be an additional charge for the first night following your departure.
No Show: In the event of a no-show, you will be responsible for the cost of the first overnight stay, and subsequent booked nights will be forfeited.
If you made your booking directly through our website, you have the flexibility to manage your booking online. Simply visit our Change or Cancel Booking page, and all it takes is your email address and booking number (found in the confirmation email) to make adjustments.
Rate Changes: Tweaking your booking? Just be aware that modifications may result in a change to the rate.
- How do the recent changes in Tourism Fee and City Tax in Amsterdam impact my booking?
All reservations made prior to 1st January 2024 for stays in 2024 will have incorporated the Tourism Fee and City Tax rates applicable in 2023. On 16th November 2023, the Amsterdam municipality announced the discontinuation of the Tourism Fee (3 Euros per person per night) but a revision in the City Tax, increasing it from 7% to 12.5%. Please note that all rates presented on this website until 31st December 2023 for stays in 2024 will not encompass these tax adjustments.
For flexible bookings, the initially booked rate will be modified at the hotel, and guests will be charged based on the new rate. For non-refundable bookings, guests will be requested to settle the difference resulting from these tax changes during their stay at the hotel.
- Can I smoke on the hotel premises?
Although some drugs are legalized in The Netherlands, smoking and drug use are not allowed anywhere on the hotel premises. To maintain a friendly, comfortable and welcoming environment, we have a zero-tolerance policy in place. If this policy is overlooked, a cleaning fee of €150.00 will be applied to your account. Your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines is greatly valued and ensures a pleasant stay for everyone at our hotel. Thank you for your understanding!
- Can I get a late check-out?
Extend your stay with late check-outs, subject to availability and a nominal fee. For details, enquire at the hotel.
- Is the hotel accessible for disabled people?
All floors in the hotel can be reached by lift. Please ask our reception about rooms with an adapted bathroom if you are less able to walk.
- Is Wi-Fi available in the hotel?
Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.
- Can I pay safely online?
You pay securely with credit card or IDEAL via our secure payment link when making your booking online.
- Can I have dinner at the hotel?
You hardly need to leave the Eden Hotel to experience the real Amsterdam city life. In addition to a delicious and responsible breakfast according to the Dutch Cuisine principles, you can also enjoy a delicious lunch, drinks and a variety of dining experiences at our hotel.
- As of what age can I make a hotel reservation?
Eden Hotels has clear rules for making a reservation and minimum age. You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking and stay at our hotels without a parent or guardian.
- Can I rent a bike at Eden Hotel Amsterdam?
The hotel does not rent bicycles. We do have discount vouchers for Black Bikes, which are on the other side of the Rembrandtplein, 3-4 minutes walking distance.
- Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed in our hotel, with the exception of guiding dogs.
- Does the hotel have parking facilities?
The hotel does not have its own parking facilities, but there are plenty of parking options nearby. Discover them here.
- Can I store my luggage at the hotel?
On the day of arrival and the day of departure you can store your luggage in our locked baggage room.
- Can I book several rooms at once?
Of course you can. From 10 rooms or more belonging to one group, booked separately or through one group reservation, special group conditions always apply. Please contact the hotel's reservation department to agree on these, so that there are no surprises.
