Perfect stay

Nothing not to like. Lovely cost clean rooms. Can control heating, watch tv, given water, hot drinks and chocolate. Only the only thing is no milk for the British tea lovers but that’s the same for all over Amsterdam. Bathroom nice with hot power shower. Good location close to restaurants and tram line.

Great view, many stairs

First of all, our review is based on an apartment and not a hotel room. The hotel is well supplied with elevators. Not the apartments in houses. The house we stayed in was built in 1650, so protected. We wanted a view and a bedroom, so our apartment = 3 steep flights of stairs. Otherwise, spacious, clean, though the kitchen was not well stocked with china and cutlery. The hotel itself was friendly and fun. The concierge desk was excellent; and the location was superb: close to shops, close to grocery stores, restaurants, and across the Amstel river if one wanted to visit Hermitage etc.

Long layover

I scheduled a one night stay at Eden Hotel due to a long layover between flights. I could not be more pleased with the selection of this hotel. The staff were professional, pleasant and accommodating. They were able to move us to a room with two beds at check in with no problem. The breakfast was very good and the location was perfect for our needs. I would definitely stay here again.

So relaxed !

We had a very nice room. With a view on the river Amstel. Everything was very clean. Whatever you need it is there. The staff is friendly and will help you when you need them. Breakfast is delicious, fresh and so much to chose from. Amsterdam centre is nearby . Rembrandt square is around the corner with all the restaurants and bars. We so enjoyed our stay.

Location Location Location

I booked the Eden hotel for a party of 5 for a 50 th birthday. I booked here mostly because of its location and omg it didn’t disappoint on that front. The hotel is right on the front and situated next to an abundance of bars and eateries. It was a 6/7 minute walk to the red light district and a 25 minute walk to Ann Frank which was a beautiful walk. There’s an Irish bar 3 buildings away and lots of gift shops. The hotel itself is lovely inside and the checking in was different as you do it yourself, there was plenty of staff around to help out though! The bar area is lovely and again the staff friendly but it closes at 11.30 which wasn’t stated. Our room which was a double was disappointing, it was clean and the bed was amazing but the shape of the room was way to narrow and impossible to get ready, the mirror was situated at the other end of where the sockets where which was interesting when doing my hair but I managed. I feel if it was a group of young girls attempting to get ready then they would really struggle. The room was very dark also. One of the single rooms was better as although it was small it was square so felt spacious. We didn’t book the breakfast as it’s just continental but we found a place serving lovely breakfast’s about 10 mins away. Although I’ve wrote about the negatives it was only a weekend and as I said the location was the winner!!
